Missing Media
Problem: A clip on the timeline shows "Media removed" instead of your video or photo.
Solution: The original file has been deleted from your account. Click the placeholder to see your options: - Replace — Swap it with a different video or photo from your library - Remove — Delete the placeholder from the timeline
When you open a project with missing files, an alert lists all the missing items. Click Continue to proceed — affected clips appear as shells that you can replace or remove.
Clips Pending Review
Problem: You cannot export because some clips need review.
Solution: Some AI-generated clips (such as Image-to-Video conversions) require your approval before they can be included in an export. You can: - Approve clips individually by selecting each one - Click Approve All to approve every pending clip at once
Insufficient Tokens
Problem: A feature (like Image-to-Video) says you need more tokens.
Solution: Click the Buy Tokens button that appears, or click your token balance in the header bar to purchase more. Token costs are always displayed before any action so there are no surprises.
Preview Not Playing
Problem: You press play but nothing happens, or the video does not play smoothly.
Solution: Check the Render Bar at the top of the timeline: - Blue sections are rendered and ready to play - Gray sections are still being processed
Wait for the render to finish, or scrub the playhead to a blue (rendered) section. On mobile devices, preview quality is automatically reduced for faster performance.
Clips Not Snapping
Problem: When you drag clips, they do not snap to beats or other clip edges.
Solution: Check that the Snap toggle is enabled. Look for the magnet icon in the timeline control bar and make sure it is active (highlighted).
Cannot Move a Clip
Problem: You try to drag a clip but it will not move.
Solution: The clip might be locked. Look for a lock icon on the clip, or open the clip settings panel and toggle the Lock off. Locked clips are protected from accidental moves and edits until unlocked.
Audio Not Playing
Problem: You cannot hear the background music during preview.
Solution: Check the Mute toggle in the playback settings. Click the gear icon near the play button and make sure mute is turned off.
Project Not Saving
Problem: You are worried your changes are not being saved.
Solution: Projects auto-save continuously in the background. Look at the header bar for the "Auto-saved" indicator — it shows the last save time (for example, "Auto-saved 1 minute ago"). If the indicator is not updating, try refreshing the page.
